I ordered this and a Swivel Sweeper G2 at the same time. Unfortunatly, the “G2” I ordered seems only half way between an older style Swivel Sweeper and the new “G2″… for example, it had the new style fold-out dirt tray, but didn’t have the newer style soft handle top.

The new red battery didn’t work in my black sweeper. It only worked in one of the red sweepers, but seemed to have a loose connection. The machine works for a few seconds, then stops, over & over.. My feeling is that it has to do with the design change.

Spend a couple extra bucks and get it from the Swivel Sweeper company. Like one of the reviews said it isn’t even the right color, does not match the picture and I can find NO PLACE in the description about the polarity things not matching your sweeper or the charger. Of course in the package itself there is a disclaimer declaring that.
