The only way now to remove the broken oil filter is by taking the parts of the oil filter one by one apart. By any means, the cap has to be removed, i.e. use every tool you can lay your hands on. You have to rip the threaded part and reach for the center with screws. Next, grab a screwdriver and unscrew the bolts.
